Life at St. Andrews

Simpler Living

Simpler Living is a gathering for women on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Trinity House. Child care is available in the Nursery. The group engages in conversation, discussion, and reflection on life issues.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry was established in March of 2005. It engages in prayer while producing warm comforting wraps for patients at the House of Care Hospice, for the Cancer Support Group Mt. Nittany Medical Center, and for members of our parish family. Recently, a youth Prayer Shawl Ministry was started.

Knitters

The Knitters Ministry was established thirty years ago to produce knitted, crocheted, and other hand-made items to be sold so the proceeds could be used to purchase items for use on and around the altar.

Environmental Concerns Task Force

The Environmental Concerns Task Force looks for ways to involve St. Andrew's in environmentally friendly programs and activities, both in the church and in the community.

Men’s Prayer and Study Group

The Men’s Prayer and Study Group was established just after Easter in 1977, and meets at 7:30 each Tuesday evening in the Parish Life Center for conversation, discussion, reflection and prayer.

Book Group

The Book Group meets Sunday evenings at 7:30 to discuss books that members have read. Books cover a wide variety of topics, and are chosen by the group for their timely and inspirational content.
