Stewardship

All that we are and all that we have is God’s incredible gift to us. Stewardship is one way of asking how we can respond in gratitude through doing God’s work in this world, and it involves using the best of our time, talents and treasure in expanding Christ’s kingdom.

Good stewardship requires us to critically examine the ways we use our world and to understand environmental issues as not only matters of science but also as religious questions of stewardship that challenge our faith.

Stewardship also involves questions about giving and how we understand our money in the light of God’s limitless generosity. Our annual stewardship campaign challenges us to pledge not only to sustain our operating budget but also — and more importantly — to develop our vision and to expand our mission. There is so much more to be done, and prayerful “holy arithmetic” sparks and sustains this energy and movement.

Please contact the church office if you are interested in any of the many opportunities to share your time and talents on a commission or ministry at Saint Andrew’s.
